This person has a good background of technical knowledge and drill experience. They operate the drill equipment that will create the hole in the seabed. They also have a great knowledge about the well pressure systems, drilling fluids/ characteristics and emergency procedures. Has obtained this position after many years of working as a Derrickman or roughneck under their belt. Has a general salary of £46,000 or US$66,000.
